July 13th 2024 - Hella - 9am, 11am, 1pm & 4pm
July 14th 2024 - Hella - 9am, 11am, 1pm
Please plan to stay out at the DZ for about 4-6 hours, this is a weather dependent sport & we will work around it as best we can. Note, on some days we may be able to start earlier, depending on weather.
All Tandems on the 13th & 14th are taking off out of the Hella Airport & there is plenty of parking on property. However we don't have a lot of seating or food options on site. So we do recommend bringing some chairs and snacks.
Address: Hella @ RJMC+WMM, Hella, Iceland
Next, you will be geared up and fitted with a state of the art harness system designed specifically for tandem skydiving and will then board a customized aircraft with your instructor. On the climb to altitude, you will enjoy captivating views of Iceland.
In freefall, have fun with your video! Smiles, funny faces, and general shenanigans are encouraged! This is your experience and we're here to make it as memorable as we can. It's your time to shine - get your smiles ready and geek at the camera. Bright colors are encouraged so that you stand out against the background.
We take the plane up to ~14,000 ft (4267M) so you have anywhere from 30-45 seconds of freefall.
When it’s time to deploy your parachute, the next part of the skydive begins. During a scenic 5-7 minute canopy ride back to the landing zone you will literally feel on top of the world as your instructor guides you to the ground. You can wave to your family and friends waiting in the spectator area as your instructor lands the parachute system. Before your feet even touch the ground, you'll be anticipating your next jump.
Included in the cost of this jump are:

DOES WEATHER PREVENT SKYDIVING?

HAVE GLASSES OR CONTACTS?
Goggles will be supplied for your skydive that cover glasses and contacts.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Dress in comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting grass stains on. Shoes should cover your entire feet and securely lace. All pockets will need to be empty before the jump and minimum/no jewelry. Warm and colorful clothing, in addition gloves are recommended. Jewelry could fall off during freefall, wear it at your own risk.
ANY FITNESS REQUIREMENTS?
No. You must be at least 16 years or older.
IS A CAMERA PERMITTED?
You are not allowed to use a GoPro or camera on the skydive. Only a licensed skydiver with at least 200 jumps can skydive with a camera, however your jump for this event comes with photo & video so we got you covered!
